1 Year of Kulinarik Trends
Kulinarik Trends, your Austrian, German & Swiss Online Shop, just celebrated its first birthday.
That might come as news since you haven’t seen us for that long online right?
Importing takes time, with lots of preparation beforehand. Meeting possible suppliers, organise the products and product requirements for customs. A long travel time for the goods via shipping, and local distribution is only part of the journey upfront.
Designing a website, organise an online store, don’t forget the bookkeeping, some marketing does help, and most likely another 20 steps in between before any Austrian, German or Swiss goods can be sold online in Australia. But aside from the online shop is the crucial wholesale operation which forms the backbone of the business. We are lucky to have found trust from great companies in Melbourne and also Australia wide who are storing our products and offering them to their customers.
It may be a long journey but it certainly is rewarding seeing the progress over time and the little successes from passing customs for example. Or the joy receiving the goods in to our storage for example is always a highlight.
Over the course of this blog, we would love to show you more behind the scenes, introduce our suppliers, share some amazing recipes and tips what you can do with our imported goods from Austria, Germany and Switzerland which can be send all over Australia.
